Unconditional Love: A Message to My Wife

I dedicate this writing to you, my beloved. Things have been very chaotic recently, and I don’t know what is next for us. Life seems aggressive recently, like a storm over the sea, rocking our boat and throwing us around. Losing our balance is normal, rocking from side to side. Even though the storm doesn’t lighten, seek me out, for I am your lighthouse willing to guide you.

               Although I must admit to you, I don’t want things to change, and I pray they stay the same. For I hear that you feel weary, and the world doesn’t give you a break. I too would like to stay in place, except we can’t. So, grab on to me and together we will face the world, I as your shield.

               As brave as I may sound, you know I grow weary as well. Just with one look at you, and I can tell much of your emotions. Yet you can read me like a book too. Except you and our lord comfort me. Giving me strength and the motivation to go on. So, love, give me the weight on your shoulders and rest. I am your mountain, I am your lighthouse, and I am your husband.
