Will You See Me?

Will you see me the same as the day we meet, or will you see my changes. Will you look at me for who I am now or for whom I was. Can you tell the small changes I made, or can you only see the larger changes. Can you forgive my mistakes or must I always carry them. Why must I change, if you will not see what I have done? Why must I move if you think I’m standing still? I must move not for them, or anyone, but for my Lord and for myself.

As I distance myself from God, I am reminded that my life is much better with me at his side. We can all be hard on ourselves, especially after failing or coming up short. In this world men will sometimes not forgive you or will look at you for the worse you have been. Don’t be afraid of such things for one can always change. It isn’t easy, however try not to care about what others say. We are social animals after all, yet, besides God, we are the only ones who care about our lives and good being of it. Still God will look at you for who truly are, and he is the one who we must try to please.

Start making changes within you. The world will always try to beat you down. From your friends, your co-workers, and mostly yourself. Starting changes to make yourself better will not always be easy and will not show right away. For example, if you go to the gym tomorrow, no one will notice any changes. Yet you and God will see those changes. God can see even the smallest of changes, even the one’s you can’t see yourself. If change was easy to make, everyone would do it, yet people stick to the same routines because it is easy. Don’t rely on anyone and sometimes yourself to give you appraisal. Trust in God, he will see your intentions, your actions and your motives. He will notice even up to the smallest of changes you have created.

Don’t rely on motivation to continue your changes. Discipline is the key to success. God will not just give you discipline; he will give you challenges to practice your discipline. Not only will God give you challenges but the enemies of God will try to knock you of your routine by giving you easy escapes, and excuses. Do not fall for these tricks, see what they truly mean and decide how you wish to act.

My brothers don’t fall for the tricks of the enemy, though you must remember that you can enjoy the wonderful life God has giving you. As the holidays pass us, there will be lots of people who will break their routines. From diets to workout days. These days are usually spent with family and friends, and spending time with them is part of life. God has giving you these people in your life so you can cherish the gifts he has provided you. Be happy, spend time with them, eat something not on your diet. Treasure these beautiful times, for we don’t know when God will call us to his kingdom. Once you have done this, continue your journey, but never be afraid to take ahold of what God has put in your life.

You mustn’t be afraid of what the world thinks about you. You and God will only every care for the good being of your life. So, make the necessary changes even if the world can't see the results immediately. God will show them to you eventually throughout your discipline and the challenges you overcome. Be aware of the thing’s life and all the enemies of God will throw at you, have faith in our Lord. Also remember to live with a full heart, taking advantage of the time God has giving you to enjoy.
